I told someone about it later because it had annoyed me I got on with my business; the rude tone was about them, not about me I felt stung for a bit, and after a while it was gone I gave up on it and stayed annoyed for quite a while

Like everything else: I do it properly because I said I would I get it done, but it usually takes me longer than expected I put it off for a while and then push it through at the last minute Honestly, without someone looking I tend to let things like that slide

A day with no fixed appointments, everything is up to you. How does such a day usually start for you? At a fixed time, the alarm counts even without an appointment I write down what is on for today and then I start I do what I feel like first; the productive part comes later The start drifts for me, I get going at some point

You are in the middle of something important and get interrupted: phone, flatmate, parcel delivery. What usually happens with you afterwards? I check quickly whether it can wait, then I am back at it I deal with it and need a few minutes to get back into it After that I am usually out of it and continue later A day like that often falls apart on me, one interruption pulls the next one along

I stopped talking; someone who will not listen will not hear I tried again later, in different words I said the one sentence that really matters, short, before they were fully gone I simply kept at it and carried on talking

Someone is explaining something to you and halfway through you realise you disagree. What happens in your head then? I listen to the end and ask questions before I answer I listen, but my reply is usually already finished Honestly, I am mostly waiting for my turn to speak

You are selling your old phone. In the listing you could write “like new”, even though it has a few scratches; nobody checks beforehand. What do you write? “Good condition, light signs of use”, the way it is “Good condition”, the scratches are visible in the photos anyway I write very little and let the photos do the talking “Like new”, you can hardly sell things any other way these days

Language test

This short test checks your writing and your reading comprehension. Speaking is not tested here; that comes later in the live conversation, which is part of the assessment anyway. In both texts the second half of some words is missing. Complete them, and guessing is better than leaving a gap.
